3300 XL 5mm proximity sensor
The 3300 5 mm probe improves upon previous designs. Apatented TipLoc molding method provides a more robustbond between the probe tip and the probe body. The 3300 5mm system is orderable with Fluidloc cable options forpreventing oil and other liquids from leaking out of themachine through the cable's interior.
When combined with a 3300 XL Proximitor Sensor and XLextension cable, the system provides an output voltage thatis directly proportional to the distance between the probe tipand the observed conductive surface. The system canmeasure both static (position) and dynamic (vibration) data. Its primary use is in vibration and position measurementapplications on fluid-film bearing machines, as well asKeyphasor measurement and speed measurementapplications6.
The 3300 5 mm probe and 3300 XL extensioncable have corrosion-resistant, gold-platedbrass ClickLoc connectors. These connectorsrequire only finger-tight torque (connectors wil! click"), and the specially engineered lockingmechanism prevents the connectors fromloosening. The connectors require no specialtools for installation or removal.
3300 XL 8mm proximity sensor
The system provides an output voltage that is directlyproportional to the distance between the probe tip and theobserved conductive surface and can measure both static(position) and dynamic (vibration) values. The system'sprimary applications are vibration and positionmeasurements on fluid-film bearing machines, as well asKeyphasor reference and speed measurements3.
The 3300 XL probe and extension cable alsoreflect improvements over previous designs. Apatented TipLoc molding method provides amore robust bond between the probe tip andthe probe body. The probe's cable incorporatesa patented CableLoc design that provides 330N (75 lbf) pull strength to more securely attachthe probe cable and probe tip.
The 3300 XL Proximitor Sensor incorporates numerous improvements over previous designs. Its physical packaging allows you to use it in high-density DIN-rail installations. You can also mount the sensor in a traditional panel mount configuration, where it shares an identical 4-hole mounting “footprint” with older Proximitor Sensor designs. The mounting base for either option provides electrical isolation
and eliminates the need for separate isolator plates. The 3300 XL Proximitor Sensor is highly immune to radio frequency interference, allowing you to install it in fiberglass housings without adverse effects from nearby radio frequency signals. The 3300 XL Proximitor Sensor’s improved RFI/EMI immunity satisfies European CE mark approvals without requiring special shielded conduit or metallic housings, resulting in lower installation costs and complexity.
3300 XL 11mm proximity sensor
The 3300 XL11 mm Proximitor Sensor has thesame advanced features found in the 3300 XL 8mm Proximitor Sensor. lts thin design allows itto be mounted in either a high-density DlN-railinstallation or a more traditional panel mountconfiguration.improved RFl/EMl immunityallows the 3300 XL Proximitor Sensor to achieveEuropean CE mark approvals without anyspecial mounting considerations. This RFlimmunity also prevents the transducer systemfrom being adversely affected by nearby highfrequency radio signals. springLoc terminalstrips on the Proximitor Sensor require nospecial installation tools and facilitate faster, highly robust field wiring connections.
The 3300 XL 11 mm probe comes in varyingprobe case configurations, including armoredand unarmored ¼-20, 5/8 -18, M14 X 1.5 and Ml6X1.5 probe threads. The reverse mount 3300 XL1l mm probe comes standard with either 3/8-24or Ml0 Xlthreads. All components of thetransducer system have gold-plated brassClickLoc connectors.ClickLoc connectors lockinto place, preventing the connection frombecoming loose. The patented TipLoc moldingmethod provides a robust bond between theprobe tip and the probe body.
