The Schneider Electric Altivar 71 ATV71HD75N4Z is a heavy-duty three-phase variable-speed drive (VSD) designed for demanding industrial motor control applications. It provides flexible, high-performance control for large motors (up to 75 kW / 100 hp) operating on 380-480 VAC supplies, incorporating advanced protection features, communication interfaces, and EMC filtering. This unit omits the built-in graphic terminal, thereby reducing cost and complexity for setups where local visual interface is not required. Connectivity includes CANopen and Modbus protocols, facilitating integration into larger control systems. The rugged design includes premium components to ensure reliability, efficient cooling, and noise control. Although now discontinued, this model is still supported until end-of-service, and many are in use where seamless, heavy-duty motor speed control, torque control, and safe stopping are required (e.g. conveyors, pumps, large machinery).
