The 150-F60NBD features a microprocessor and solid-stated based device with programmable function for performing multiple starting and stopping modes for a motor as well as active control mode. These modes are designed to protect the connected motor from damage due to operation stress to maximize its designed operational lifespan.
The 150-F60NBD is part of the Smart Motor Controller (SMC) that belongs to the SMC Flex product family from Allen-Bradley. These devices are soft starter products that functions primarily to protect motors. It is also used as an energy saving equipment as it may be used to limit unnecessary level of electrical parameters.
This soft starter may be configured locally through the embedded LCD screen with embedded keypad. It may also be configured over a network by installing communication adapters such as RS485, ControlNet, Ethernet, ProfiBus, HVAC and other communication protocols.
